JOB DESCRIPTION: Technical Business Analyst starting ASAP thru 12/31/2010------------BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
* This individual must be experienced in facilitating evaluation of business requirements for business application integration, service activation, delivering new or modified software systems enhancements.
* They must also possess experience in the development of scope, goals, objectives, and business and system requirements while ensuring complete traceability to project objectives.
* This individual will uncover client requirements via industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, case analysis, workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis, data and object modeling.
* Documentation skills (e.g. recording of meeting minutes, development of requirements, design and business process documents) are required.
* Exceptional soft communication skills are required as this individual will work closely with both business and technical clients at various organizational levels in challenging situations.
* Expectations are that candidates will exhibit role model behavior to raise the level of skill within the Business Relationship Management team; ability and willingness to coach and mentor other Business Analysts is required.
* Must be able to drive end-to-end production support incident management which includes identification of impacted areas/applications, coordinating client engagement and communication and driving the completion of root cause analysis.
* Must be able to concurrently manage multiple initiatives with conflicting priorities while maintaining composure and a professional demeanor.
* Must support the compilation of various management reports on an as needed basis.

Requirements:
* Bachelor?s degree in Information Systems or related field -or- 10 years equivalent work experience is required.
* 8 or more years of technical project management or business analysis experience.
* Experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and documenting business processes.
* 8 or more years of experience in facilitating evaluation of business requirements for business application integration, service activation, delivering new or modified software systems enhancements..
* 8 or more years experience performing within the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Proficient in MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS

------------Essential Functions
? Responsible for planning and architecting webMethods upgrade from 6.5 and 7.x
? Installing different webMethods components (e.g. Integration Server, Trading Networks, Repo Servers and EDI packages).
? Guide the configuration of different components and tweaking them to manage hi-volume data transfers.
? Responsible for detailed architecture and design for webMethods solutions.
? Interacts and consults with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and then defines the appropriate architecture to meet those requirements.
? Works independently designing and leading the implementation of infrastructure enhancements in the areas of system performance, capacity, hardware/OS configuration and data flow.
? Guide development teams through all facets of architecture including performance, high availability, fail-over, disaster recovery, network routing, security, capacity planning line, data modeling, storage solutions, n-tier architecture design, etc.
? Acts as a technical expert addressing problems relating to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration.

? Act as the webMethods architecture expert for the team. Interact with the EDI and Enterprise Architects on a regular basis and communicate architectural developments to the application teams.

? Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
? 7+Years of total IT experience.
? Minimum 4 years of experience with webMethods Integration Platform (6.5/7.1) including Integration Server, Broker, Trading Networks, Modeler/Designer, Developer, Deployer, and My webMethods.
? Must have experience upgrading webMethods from 6.x to 7.x
? Experience with implementing J2EE and Web services and conceptual knowledge of SOA
? In-depth knowledge of relational database systems including SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005
? Must have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels including customers and vendors.
? Must be highly organized with excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation, and decision making skills.
