JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Siebel Technical Architect your primary responsibilities will be focused on the analysis, design, and implementation of the systems and network infrastructure needed to support all aspects of the Siebel development, testing, and production environmental requirements. Some of the activities that you may be responsible for leading and/or participating in include: Logical and physical Siebel environment and architecture definition, Siebel server, web server, and database server sizing, configuration, and administration, Network infrastructure analysis and definition, Siebel interface and data movement strategy, design, and construction, Data conversion strategy, design, and construction, Siebel integration and performance testing strategy, approach, and execution, Performance tuning including Siebel server, web server, database server, and load balancing, Application deployment planning and execution. Requirements include: At least 5 years experience as a systems and network infrastructure architect ? Minimum two full Siebel lifecycle implementations as a Siebel Systems Architect (at least one Siebel 7 or later) ? Understanding of Siebel architecture including Gateway Server, Enterprise Server, Siebel Server, Web Server, and Database Server ? Experience with Siebel EAI and/or Siebel data interfaces preferred ? Significant consulting/client facing background ? Strong technical foundation including: Understanding of hardware architectures (e.g., servers, memory, I/O subsystems, tape backups, storage devices, etc.) and application of this knowledge to sizing and configuration Structured programming ?
